We hate jobs like this one… jobs where we get called in to fix someone else’s work. No one wins, but in the end it was done right. Passed final inspection with no issues. Bonus: the clients are now close friends!

We happened to be onsite with a subcontractor. We saw this porch being built by another contractor and were concerned about the number of code violations we saw. The homeowner shared those concerns and we took over the project. Day 1 was disassembling the brand new partially built porch.

We spent time with the client understanding what they wanted, something the previous contractor never did. Our goal was to make it look as if it had been built with the house. We color matched the support and railing posts and even added siding to the roof returns to match the house. We used as much of the existing materials (from the previous contractor) as we could to minimize additional cost. Black aluminum railing adds a premium, modern look and feel look.
